Milton Grin, M.D. Dr. Grin has been actively involved in refractive surgery since 1988. His dedication to continuing education has kept him on the forefront of refractive surgery technology. Dr. Grin performs laser surgery using only the VISX 4 Eye Tracker Laser system with Wavefront capabilities.
As a patient of Dr. Grin´s, you should feel very confident with the fact that he has more than 15 years of surgical experience. Dr. Grin uses all of this experience to determine whether or not refractive surgery will meet both the needs and lifestyle of each and every one of his interested patients.
Ophthalmology is a passion shared by both Dr. Grin and his wife, Dr. Trudi Grin, a pediatric eye surgeon. Together, they have dedicated themselves to medicine, continuing education, community outreach, and Medical Missions, where they perform charity eye surgery world-wide. With all these activities, Dr. Grin and his wife still have an amazing sense of family with their three children-Benjamin (19 years), Cara (18 years), and Andrew (11 years).

Barbara Wolock, M.D.Barbara Wolock is a native of the Kansas City area and has been practicing general ophthalmology here since 1991. She obtained her undergraduate degree at Colgate University in Hamilton, New York and went on to get her M.D. at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. After spending one year as an internal medicine resident at the University of Virginia, she completed a residency in ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She joined Grin Eye Care in 1998 after working as a staff ophthalmologist for Humana Health Care Plans. When Dr. Wolock is not busy at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.

Aaron R. Florkowski, M.D. Dr. Florkowski is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, as well as the American Medical Association.
While at the University of Missouri at Kansas City Dr. Florkowski was honored with membership in Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, given only to top medical students. During his training he was actively involved in publishing biological research in infectious disease. He earned his M.D. degree in 2000.
Dr. Florkowski´s internal medicine clerkship was completed at St. Luke´s Hospital and Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. There he practiced internal medicine in a hospital setting while working closely with other specialties such as cardiology, pulmonology, and general surgery.
His surgical training was completed at the Eye Foundation of Kansas City, where he spent 3 years. During that time his focus was spent training in medical and surgical treatment of ophthalmic disease. He was twice honored as ¨Consultant of the Year¨ by the emergency room staff at Truman Medical Center. Additionally, he was involved with research relating to investigational drugs for macular degeneration and dry eye syndrome, and published research about diabetic changes in the eye.
Dr. Florkowski´s scope of practice includes cataract surgery, medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma, retinal disease, diabetes, plastic surgery of the eyelids, and refractive surgery.
He has recently been involved in mission work with the Medical Mission Foundation and Surgical Eye Expeditions, International, where his focus has been donating time treating patients and performing cataract surgery in Romania.
During his spare time Dr. Florkowski enjoys piloting small planes, running, snowboarding, musical composition, and his Border Collie, Vega. Being a northern transplant, his favorite sport is hockey.
Dr. Florkowski is licensed to practice in both Kansas and Missouri. He is available for consultation 5 days a week at the Olathe and Grandview offices.

Jennifer Johnson, O.D. Dr. Jennifer Johnson received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kansas State University. She then attended University of Houston, where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry.
She is credentialed by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry for the management and treatment of ocular disease.
Upon completion of her degree in 1995, Dr. Johnson joined Grin Eye Care. She specializes in contact lenses, including bifocal, toric, and contact lenses for the dry eye patient. She has interests in primary eye care, treatment of eye disease, and Lasik surgery pre and post-op management.
Dr. Johnson is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Kansas Optometric Association, the Optometric Society of Greater Kansas City, and the Olathe Lions Club.
Dr Johnson, enjoys running and reading. She and her husband and their three children especially love to hike in the Rocky Mountains each summer.

Lori McQuigg, O.D. Dr. McQuigg was a 1995 graduate of the Southern College of Optometry -Memphis, Tennessee. Her graduate training through SCO encompassed all areas, but her emphasis was, and still is, in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, contact lenses, preoperative and postoperative care of cataract and refractive surgery patients, as well as primary care.
After graduation, Dr. McQuigg practiced alongside several ophthalmologists in the Michigan area. In 1999, she relocated back to her home town, Kansas City. Before Dr. McQuigg joined the doctors at Grin Eye Care, she practiced throughout the Kansas City area with Sabates Eye Centers. While on staff with the Sabates group, she utilized her experience in the area of contact lens care and management to train ophthalmology residents and ophthalmic technician students through the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Dr. McQuigg is currently affiliated with the Kansas Optometric Association, and is proud to work with the doctors of Grin Eye Care. She looks forward to helping her patients at both the Olathe, Kansas and Grandview, Missouri locations for many years to come.

Christa Dawson, O.D. Dr. Dawson received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She then attended and graduated Cum Laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee with a doctorate of Optometry degree. Following graduation, Dr. Dawson worked in a primary care and contact lens practice in Memphis. Since joining Grin Eyecare at their Grandview office in August of 2005, Dr. Dawson has continued to practice primary care. She also has an interest in contact lens, pediatrics, and treatment of ocular disease. Dr. Dawson is currently an active member of The American Optometric Association and holds full licensure privileges in both Kansas and Missouri. In her spare time, Dr. Dawson takes pleasure in spending time with her husband and their young son, as well as visiting her family in Kentucky.
