Dr. Hannah Fann sees patients in Brookside, Leawood, and Olathe. She provides comprehensive eye care with emphasis in the treatment and management of ocular diseases. She also works alongside our surgeons to provide pre- and post-operative care.
Dr. Fann was born and raised in Maryland, just outside of Washington D.C. She graduated from the University of Maryland and then completed the post-baccalaureate intramural research program at The National Eye Institute at NIH shortly after. She graduated summa cum laude from the Southern College of Optometry. During optometry school, she enjoyed being active in research, leadership roles, and community service. She was the President of her school’s SVOSH chapter, which provided eye care to multiple communities in Central and South America. She was also the Vice President of the International Gold Key Optometric Honor Society.
Following optometry school, she completed her residency at the Kansas City Veterans Affairs Medical Center in ocular disease with emphasis in low vision and glaucoma. She quickly fell in love with Kansas City and feels lucky to call it home. She enjoys camping and hiking, experimenting with new recipes, and exploring new cities.
